This is kitesurfing in paradise; if there is wind anywhere in Egypt you will ride it with us….

Our trips start straight away at the airport where we will pick you up and transfer you on to our yacht.

The latest the following morning you will be on the water enjoying the ripping wind.

During the week we have more than 20 different spots to choose from depending on conditions and riders ability.

Most of our spots are extremely well suited for beginners and it is possible to do the full range of IKO courses during the trip.

There is a zodiac taking care of deep-water assistance and rescue service. All food and non alcoholic drinks are included, local beer is sold on the trip and everyone is welcome to bring there own beverages if desired.

The safari boat is a Best test center and the latest equipment from Naish and Nobile is available for testing and even purchasing on the trip.

There are lots of beach toys on the boat for you to enjoy such as, snorkeling gear, kayaks, beach volleyball, etc.

It’s possible to arrive the day before the departure and still be able to enjoy the full trip as long as your returning flight is not before 11.00 am. You will then get the last days kiting as your first.

Rental of equipment can be arranged as long as it is booked in advance with Colona Watersports.

Insurance is not included in the trip so make sure your travel insurance is covering kitesurfing as an activity.

Video coaching can be arranged during the trip if requested.

When the sad last morning is coming we bring you back to the airport in time for your flight back home.

The price for this is 750 Euro and there is only a maximum of 18 beds on each trip available.

Itinerary Kitesafari, arrival the day before departure.

This itinerary is written for Saturday departure if there is a Tuesday departure then Friday will be Monday instead.

Friday:
Getting picked up at the airport and transfer to the boat; if you arrive early we can take you out to Colona Watersports - Magawish to be on the water the very first day. The night you will spend aboard the boat in Hurghada New Marina with the nightlife just next door.

Saturday:
Pick up at the boat in the morning after breakfast then transfer out to Colona Watersports for a day of kiting while waiting for the rest of the guests. If everybody has arrived before 15.00 we will depart. If not we will depart approximately. 06.00 the following morning.

Sunday-Thursday:
Now your hardest choice of the day will be if you are going to get up at sunrise to get a session in before breakfast or not. Then hit the water for a full on session until the lunch is served on the beach to not miss out on your time on the water.
After sunset it is high time for a bit of relaxation while the dinner is prepared, often a barbeque on the beach under the stunning night sky (don’t forget glow sticks for both kite and board).

We choose the spots with the best conditions at the moment, to ensure you of getting optimum kiting. All travel north (upwind) is done on the boat. When we travel east, west or south it is possible to that by kite if the conditions allows it and your skill level is up to it.

Normally we visit at least three different spots during a week.

Friday:
Just before the sun is rising we start a down wind that will end up on the mainland at El Gouna where we will spend the day kitesurfing until it is time to transfer to the airport for your return flight

ACCOMMODATION

We recommend that you stay at the Swiss Inn Magawish as it is the closest hotel. However we are only 5-10 minutes from town by bus. The choice is yours, do you travel to the beach each day by bus in 30-35 degree temps or do you take an extra 20 minutes in bed before enjoying your day on the water. If you are coming for kiting then here at the Swiss Inn Magawish will be the best option for convenience.
