Welcome to Colona Watersports Kitesurfing Centres in Hurghada and Sharm el Sheik. Colona Watersports opened in June 2002 in the Magawish Hotel in Hurghada as Egypt's first dedicated kitesurf centre offering kitesurfing courses and equipment rentals at the best kitesurfing spot in the area.

In January 2007 Colona Watersports opened a second kitesurfing centre in Sharm El Sheik. The first kitesurfing centre in the region, offering kitesurfing courses and equipment rentals at a very nice spot.

Over the years Colona Watersports has grown from a relative small kitesurfing centre in Hurghada with 1 - 2 instructors and a small number of students to a well established centre with several multi lingual instructors and services such as weather stations, live cameras and wireless internet access.  Visited by many and favoured by the pro's, every year professional riders like Aaron Hadlow, Mark Shinn and Maciek Kozerski return to Colona Watersports to enjoy the great conditions.

Colona Watersports is affiliated with the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) and teaches all levels of IKO kiteboarding courses from beginner up to IKO Instructor Training Courses. Every year Colona Watersports arranges pro rider clinics, a week of intense kitesurfing for the intermediate to advanced rider who wants to progress under the supervision of a world champion.
